CHEVRONS & DIAMONDS
52 inches; Thread: 1800 yards; Hours: 75; Skill: MEDIUM
I have made at least 12 of this pattern. I was asked by a relative to make 1 for each of her 9 children for Christmas one year. That was in late August. By working all day, every day, I completed 7 by the first week in December, averaging 2 weeks for each finished the last 2 starting in February..
24 inches; 500 yards of thread; 22 hours, I would About MEDIUM hard.
This also works nicely for baby blankets.
Thread: 1300 yards
This was fun to do.
It is an absolutely gorgeous tabletopper.
This won me
"Best of Show"
at the North Dakota State Fair 2002
which was really special.
COUNTRY PRIDE 60 inches; Thread: 2500 yards; Hours: 100
This is the first larger item I made. It is quite easy for someone that wishes to 'test deeper waters'
It won me a blue ribbon at the state fair several years back.
This is a very pretty pattern, I must work it again sometime. Now just to find the time.
Thread: 900 yards
Skill: Fairly Easy
This pattern can be made as large as a tablecloth, just continue doing the repeats of leaves.
Touch OF LACE
I think this looks like very old style lace-hence the name.
But I feel it is much prettier in the Green.
These 2 are the same pattern in differient colors.
Sometimes a pattern just is meant to be in a certain color. The navy is so much richer.
SPRINGTIME 62 Inches square
LILAC TIME 64 x 82 inches
ROSE OF ENGLAND 60 inches
ROSE PETALS 60 X 80 Iinches
I was asked to convert the
Rose of England pattern into an oval design. This was the result. I also decided I didn't like the edge of the original design so changed that also. When I was done I had two complete tablecloths finished.
Again 2 items made from the same pattern, by varing tbe number of repeats.
24 X 48 inches
Again this is a special request. My adaption of 2 different patterns to creat one design
64 X 80 inches
Very pretty old German Pattern (they are the best)
But also very hard to make.
French Rose is the color of the thread, but I thought it also fit the design, so that is how it got it's name.
CIRCLE OF LIGHT
Again same pattern, 2 color.
What a difference a color can make.
Another old German Pattern
I altered it a little, from an oval tablecloth to a square.
